Bottleneck

A bottleneck is the stage that holds work longest, shown as median time in stage over a window you pick. If client review sits at four days against a 72-hour default, that is a number from the last month of projects, not an opinion.

The same intervals are recorded on every project, including on Starter. The aggregate bottlenecks view is part of analytics, from the Professional plan.

Process-audit proposals can point at a stage that is consistently over its window and suggest a change to the definition. That is a proposal, not an automatic rewrite of the workflow.

Questions that keep coming up

Is median time in stage the same as the SLA?
No. The SLA is the default on the definition. Median time is what the work actually did.
Does Starter record this?
Yes. The intervals are recorded on every project. The aggregate view is what Professional adds.
Can the product change my workflow from a bottleneck?
It can propose. It does not rewrite the definition on its own.
