Frame-accurate review
Frame-accurate review means the player steps at the source frame rate of the file, so a note on frame 1,314 is on that frame and not the one beside it. 23.976 and 29.97 are included. This is not a comment on a rounded second.
Studios use this so a colour note, a jump cut or a flash of a logo can be named without an argument about which frame was meant. The same player is used when a design studio proofs a video, or when a tester attaches a screen recording to a defect.
Tasked does not claim to match every compare mode of a specialist review tool. It does claim the source frame rate and a note that stays on that frame.
Häufige Fragen
- Does frame-accurate mean the frame, not the second?
- Yes. The player follows the source frame rate, including 23.976 and 29.97, and each note is anchored to a frame.
- Is this only on the video packs?
- The player is the product's player. Any file that is video uses it, including recordings on a defect.
- Is this as deep as Frame.io?
- Frame.io remains the specialist for review-only compare. Tasked puts the same kind of note on a workflow with stages and a client door.
