Tasks and the board
A new task is created in a composer sheet with stage, assignee and due date choice chips, attachments and fields under More details, and a Client will see switch. A card moves between board stages by dragging or via Move to in card actions. Creation gives an undo toast.
Open TaskedCreate a task
A task can start at the top of the board, at the top of a stage column, or from the plus button beside a stage on the Now tab.
- Open a project and go to its Tasks tab (or the Now tab).
- Click New task.
- Type a Title.
- Pick a stage, assignee and due date using the choice chips.
- Optional: open More details to add a description, custom fields, or attach files.
- Toggle Client will see if the task should be visible to the client in the portal.
- Click Create task. A confirmation toast lets you click Undo if you change your mind.
Move a task through the stages
A move the target stage does not allow from here, or whose condition is not yet met, is refused with the reason shown - the card stays where it was.
- Drag the card from its column to the next stage's column.
- Or open the card's actions and choose Move to, then the stage.
Assignees, due date and priority
Clicking a card opens the task drawer. Under Assignees, click Assign and pick a team member; Priority is one of Low, Normal, High and Urgent; Due date is a date field. You can change the same fields, and more, on several tasks at once: select the cards and choose Change together.

- What happens when I drag a card to a stage the workflow does not allow?
- The move is refused and the reason is shown - for example that the workflow does not allow that move from this stage, or a condition on it is not met yet.
- Can I edit several tasks at once?
- Yes. Select them and choose Change together to move a stage, or set a priority, due date or assignee across all of them at once.
