Create a project from a template
A new project is created from Projects under Productions: a name, a Template that sets workflow stages, and an optional Client. New project creates it empty; Create and plan with AI creates it and opens a planner that proposes tasks from a brief.
Open TaskedStart from a template
A new project starts from a template, which sets its workflow stages from the first day.
- In navigation, click Productions, then Projects.
- In the field labeled New project, type a name.
- Choose a Template - each one brings its own workflow stages, for example Brief, Edit, Client review and Delivery.
- Optional: choose a Client, or leave No client.
- Click the New project button.
Planning with AI instead of by hand
Instead of New project, click Create and plan with AI: the project is created exactly the same way, and a planner opens right away where you paste a brief and the AI proposes tasks with owners, estimates and dates that follow the template's stages - you approve item by item.
What a template decides
The template sets the board's stages and each stage's type: Work, Review, Approval, Gate or Done. Once created, the project opens on its Now tab, which shows the workflow as a stage stepper, the client's latest decision, and the open work of the current stage. Work views and the board sit under the Tasks tab (switch views from the View picker), and the Client tab shows what the client sees. You can also edit this one project's own stages from Project settings > Workflow without touching the original template.

- Can I change the template after creating the project?
- You can edit this project's own board stages from Project settings > Workflow. That changes only this project, unless you also choose to update the template.
- Does the AI create tasks without my approval?
- No. The planner has you approve each item before it is written to the board.
