Share link
A share link is a way to hand a file or a gallery to someone without a door: it can carry a password, an expiry date and a download switch, and it can be revoked. It is for delivery, not for a recorded approval.
Delivery stages in the video packs use portal download or a share link. A share link is not an approval record. If you need who decided and when, that is a door on an approval stage.
Every upload behind a link is still scanned for malware before anyone opens it.
Domande frequenti
- Is a share link a client door?
- No. A door is identity and permissions for a person. A share link is a file hand-off that can be locked and revoked.
- Can a share link collect an approval?
- Use a door on an approval stage for a decision. A link is for getting the file out.
- Can I revoke a link after sending it?
- Yes. Revoke it, or let the expiry date do it.
