Search and quick commands: Ctrl+K and the search screen
Ctrl+K on a keyboard (Cmd+K on a Mac) opens a command palette from anywhere in the organization that searches tasks, projects, comments, files and knowledge docs, jumps straight to the screen you asked for, or asks the assistant a plain-language question with sources for the answer. A separate search screen adds filtering by result type and a precise JQL query for tasks, beside that same ask-with-sources button.
Öppna TaskedThe command palette, from any screen
From any screen inside the organization, Ctrl+K (or Cmd+K on a Mac) opens one command palette that combines three things: jumping to a screen such as Projects or Settings, live search results from tasks, projects, comments, files and knowledge docs, and an Ask the assistant row that runs a plain-language question the moment answering is available in your deployment. On a phone, where there is no keyboard for Ctrl+K, the same palette opens from the search button in the header.
The full search screen and JQL
A separate search screen adds two things beyond the palette: chips that filter results by type - tasks, projects, comments and more - and a button that switches to JQL query mode, a precise query language for tasks with fields such as status, priority, assignee or dueAt, operators such as =, IN or IS EMPTY, and AND, OR and ORDER BY to combine and sort them. The Answer with sources button is separate from ordinary search: it answers in plain language and cites the sources the answer was built from.

Vanliga frågor
- Is there a way to open search on a phone without a keyboard?
- Yes. The search button in the header opens the same command palette without needing a keyboard shortcut.
- What is the difference between ordinary search and a JQL query?
- Ordinary search looks for words and meaning across several content types. JQL is a precise query language that searches only tasks, by fields and operators such as status or priority.
- Does the answer with sources say where it was built from?
- Yes. The Ask button runs a plain-language question and the answer cites the sources it was built from.
